"A Snowflake"

A snowflake is one of
God's most fragile creations!

Since my girls were little we would read book Snowflake Bentley, a story about a man that wanted to photograph snowflakes! As we progressed in our photography we thought, we can also capture snowflakes!!! What a special treat for my girls- after many attempts- trial and error these are the amazing photos we captured.

Wilson Alwyn "Snowflake" Bentley, born in Jericho, Vermont, is one of the first known photographers of snowflakes. Check out his story!!!

Yes! Every Snowflake is different and Unique- makes me think of all the wonders on earth!

It was easier to capture it on  the tip of a paint brush- we hurried before it melted- I think the paintbrush adds a artful touch ....

Beauty is not only seen by the eye it is also felt by the heart... when my husband and I go to a shoot we usually have a setting or vision in mind. We love experimenting with different items surroundings or sometime something as simple as a top hat will create a photo opt!

 I love looking through old items and new to find that treasure for our next shoot. Shooting to engage the senses, is our goal. I hope these images create a feeling or thought. We all look at an image and create our own story, being an old photograph or new we process, engage and comment , share our adventure with photos!

Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.
